Almost everyday, I fall in love with the same man, over and over again.

He caught me by surprise earlier with the act of delivering a Green Tea Mcflurry to me despite our little argument last night. I honestly feel that NJ4 is an endangered species, on the brink of extinction.

I heart you darling. =) My Dodo bird, my dinosaur.

Anyway, after seeing the following 2 pictures that my friend uploaded in Facebook, NJ4 said this over MSN:

Joel, Danping & I Jo & I

[1O] CMA says:
i think u can help those tanning studios and slimming companies earn A LOT of money
[may anne] nj4 ◘ [O.F.M Addict] ◘ says:
hmmm why?
[1O] CMA says:
before and after pics!
[1O] CMA says:
and urs are for real!
[1O] CMA says:
not like the before are actually after, and after are actually before
[1O] CMA says:
hahaha

I don't look THAT different what, do I? It's just a 5-6 years difference.

Disclaimer: I didn't use any of the services mentioned by NJ4 above. Everything was done through my own unhealthy methods.

Daddy's Little Girl.

Today, Dad and I spent 5 hours of Father-Daughter quality time. I don't remember when was the last time I went out with my Dad, just the two of us. It was time well spent with the man I love the most. =)

He stock up my special food supplies for me, and more than half of his expenditure was spent on shopping for my items. Dad-Mom-Food-Me is a chain that holds us very closely. They know, yet they love me more than what I really deserve. I'm loved, and I'm very much aware of it.

Deception

'Deception' was pretty good and witty in my opinion, worth watching. Anyway, about a week ago, NJ4 gave me a t-shirt with these imprints:

Photobucket

You may wonder what's so special about a plain t-shirt with a single line print? In fact, it's the single line print and the tag of the t-shirt that makes it very special, to me at least.

The pictures are adequate explanations. =D

I don't know if I did the right thing of rejecting City Gas. But one thing was for sure: she sounded so happy when I told her of my decision to take the risk. This was a calculated risk, one which I practically wrecked my brain for.

Happy 21st Birthday to my smelly brother!

Two nights ago, I had one of the worst nightmare ever in history.

I dreamt I was shot by a crazy woman, and it felt so real because I felt pain. Not that I should know the intensity of pain of a gunshot wound, but I honestly experienced pain, and it hurt like a bitch in my dream.

I woke up and my "wounded area" felt sore. That's one hell of a dream.

Anyway, caught the following two movies recently and both were very good stress busters. Especially so for Kung Fu Panda. Animations are really getting damn good nowadays.

I'm starting to wonder if I'M the one working, or SHE'S the one. -rolleyes-

Armour Commissioning Ball.

20th June 2008 marked the day of Armour Commissioning Ball which was held at St Regis Hotel, with the theme of 'Prominent Black'.

Entrance
St Regis' entrance taken from Level 2.

Us
I had to use his blazer because it was REALLY cold.

Bouquet & I
Door Gift - bouquet of ferrero rochers and plastic flowers.

Napkin plate

Initially, I thought this was the plate that we were going to eat out from, but it turned out to be only a "napkin plate". So darn classy!

Condiments, cutlery, menu, table decorations.

The food was delicious, and the artistic presentation won me over.

1st dish
Trio Delight Combinations

2nd dish
Braised Superior Shark's Fin Soup with Crabmeat and Crab Roe.

This dish was chockful of yummylicious goodness. Every spoonful was filled with huge pieces of shark's fin. I've never eaten shark's fin soup that consisted of more ingredients than soup itself.

3rd dish
Crispy Roast Chicken with Fragrant Spices & Crispy Soft Shell Crab

4th dish
Silver Cod Fish with Spicy Sauce & Stir-fried Belachan Fragrant Rice with Scallop

AHHH! I LOVE COD FISH! And this rendition was damn good!

5th and final dish
Watermelon Puree with Longan & Chinese Red Bean Pancake

See, the presentations of the food were really pretty, no? Anyway, Kumar (the comedian/host/multi-talented human) was hired to entertain us for about 30 minutes, and throughout that whole time, everyone was laughing hard at his cold/lame/crude-but-true jokes.

Towards the end of the night, the Armour cadets (oops) Officers did their traditional 'Armour Toast'.

And so, that is the Commissioning Ball, of which I had balls of fun!

This Made My Day (or night rather).

I've got a funny friend. We used to send letters to each other from Primary 6 to around Secondary 3 or 4. After 6 years of not writing, she messed my address up. Wrong door number, wrong postal code.

Countryside Place's maximum number is 38, so how was the postman supposed to deliver a letter to a non-existent 3-digit house? LOL!

And so, life as an officer has begun for NJ4. It was a pleasant surprise to wake up to a message from him saying that they've been released from Safti MI in the early afternoon, and he was free the whole day.

We went to town, and I got him his long delayed Christmas present. I was supposed to get him a Guess belt, but it has been out of stock for many months now. So when we saw Braun Buffel today, I made him choose one on the spot. =D

And being the I-like-plain-and-simple-designs person that he is, he chose a simple but nice belt.

My horoscope spectacles! =D

Collected my spectacles yesterday before meeting the girls for dinner. I love the inner frame because it's orangey-red, sunset colour, nice!

Very yummy Iced Blackberry Coffee.

Went to Coffee Club and bitched from 11pm - 1.30am. We girls can sure talk a lot. If it wasn't because 2 of them have to work later, we would have continued for another hour or so. Damn, I should sleep.

It's O-V-E-R! No more late nights with words+numbers swimming in front of me, no more groggy eyes, no more 38-42 hours without sleep!

Met up with RenJie because he wanted to pass me my birthday gift as well as a birthday treat. 3.30pm lunch at Crystal Jade, 6pm afternoon tea break at Swensen's and 7.30pm dinner for him. He's such a pig.

Been awhile since we last caught up with each other. Today was good.
