Shoes, shoes, shoes.
Fully geared!

Mommy and I accompanied Daddy to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for his eye cataract operation today and while he was in the operating theatre, Mom offered to gear me up for this coming Monday!

3 pairs of shoes in a span of 15 - 20 minutes, and if I didn't say, "Okay, I think that's enough to last me till my first pay day", my Mom would have happily continued shopping for me. Thank you Mommykins! =D

At 7.22pm, the sky turned a purplish-pink hue and that beautiful sight only lasted for a mere 2 minutes or so.

It started off with a pretty deep colour,

and then it slowly faded in over a matter of a few seconds.

Isn't nature pretty?

For 3 consecutive weekends, darling and I have been attending his Armour mates' 21st birthday celebrations. Each week, I learn a little more about those bunch of people and new strings of friendships are made (with the girlfriends/partners). And there will be more to come.

Before attending the party last night, we got conned into having late lunch at Lerk Thai, but that's not to say that the food wasn't good. It was satisfactory, but just not to our initial plan - long story.

While waiting for our orders to arrive, NJ4 was being goofy,

and so I mimicked him!

And finally, our orders came and NJ4 was happy!

Anyway, my bedroom is going to have ORANGE WALLS in no time! =D

When it's dry, it's like a drought. When it comes, it's like a free-flowing tap. 3 offers in 3 days. Now, all I have to do is decide wisely.

18 July, Friday - Filled With Laughter

Jo is back is town again and of course that naturally summons a meetup. One word to describe the people who turned up: Nonsensical.

Dinner at Newton was good, but a little over-rated. Then, it was TCC outside International Plaza. Oh my, food overload!

Aftermath Us

(1) The mess we made.
(2) They were so accomodating to bend to my pathetic height, LOL!
(3) And here I present to you, the gay guy buddies!

After almost a month of waiting, our photoshoot pictures are finally ready! Went down to collect them just now, and the 2 10R size framed pictures are so nice, I like! I heart the album of 20 too!
Number 1 uniform Number 2 uniform

These are the two framed 10R pictures, and honestly speaking, the pictures here do no justice to the end product of the framed ones.

It's the last week of his course, and I must say we sure made full use of his stay-out days over the 3 weeks.

HellBoy The Dark Knight

2 movies in 3 days. Both were awesome. I love action movies! But of course, nothing beats the company. =D

Today marks our 17th month being together (omg, we're getting quite old). Coincidentally, yesterday's birthday boy also celebrates his 17th month with his girlfriend today. =)

Being on course has many benefits, of which we're able to spend almost everyday together, and also get to celebrate important dates on the actual day itself, like today.

It took NJ4 quite a while to locate the eatery he planned on bringing me to, but the search and the countless circles we turned were all worth it. Soon enough, he found Sunset Grill & Pub (inside Seletar Airbase, which was a bitch to locate).

Fried Button Mushrooms

The Fried Button Mushrooms were okay, I still heart the one at Jerry's.

Buffalo Wings

These Buffalo Wings had fiery levels ranging from 1 - 10. My boyfriend, being one who doesn't really dig hot stuff like me, went for level 1. KILLJOY! He was sweating profusely as he ate those wings, and I was so disappointed. I think even MacDonald's chilli is spicier. (Okay, it wasn't really the case, but just a comparison.)

BBQ Ribs

NJ4 ordered a main course without knowing that the shrooms and wings were more than enough to fill both of us up. So when his main course came, he had to send it back to the kitchen to get it packed.

Thank you darling, for the wonderful dinner, for the quaint eating environment, for your company, for your love. Happy 17th! =D
Sunday was packed to the brim with activities, which I had balls of fun. NJ4 and I brought Sparky to East Coast Park for a walk. I guess this is when pictures speak a thousand words. Take a peek:

Looking up and down the street, waiting for his Kor Kor to arrive:

And then, Kor Kor finally arrived, so off we go!

And Sparky being his usual inquisitive self, he explored the vehicle:

After which, he enjoyed the scenery:

And then my baby got so bored because the journey was taking too long. Just look at his BIG BIG YAWN!

NJ4 had to pump petrol before continuing the journey, and this got my little baby pretty agitated. He scrambled about and was literally asking for his Kor Kor to return quickly.

The journey soon continued and Sparky decided to be SuperDog.

And then we FINALLY arrived at ECP!!!

We walked, and walked, and walked, and before we knew it, it was time to head home. My little one was so tired that he bade the world goodnight on the journey back home.

And that, was one happy day for Sparky. =D

NJ4 and I attended his friend's 21st birthday party later at night, and I must say that the Officers are pretty protective people.

And because I get red easily with the consumption of alcohol, but still totally sober (inherited this from my Dad), the birthday boy asked if I was okay and if I'm actually of legal age to drink. It was hilarious to see their reactions when I said I'm older than majority of them there. You mean I don't even look 18?! -_- LOL!

And it's really nice to be able to put faces to names now. =)

You know, even if you think the person you're dating is the right one for you, your soul mate, your air, your life, your everything, it's still wise to hold back and not give 100%.

Tested, proven, certified. Time and again.

This show is a MUST watch, even if you're not an animal lover. It's heart-warming, touching, sad, and very true.

The 10 promises made to the dog in this show is not foreign to me, because I have "The Dog 10 commandments list" on my dining table, and whenever I read it, I can't help but tear. This show brought tears to many, and a girl cried out loud!

This is a great watch, really. And if you absolutely adore dogs, it's a big big bonus.

So, before the movie, NJ4 and I dined at Thai Express to satisfy my never-ending-sudden-and-quirky cravings. Today I was craving for Thai food + anything that's kway teow.

This is love.

Old School, Really Old School.

As I was packing my desk drawers earlier this morning, I chanced upon my almost-forgotten Primary School foolscap pads.

English writing pad Chinese writing pad

I graduated from RGPS in 1998. 10 years, those foolscap pads have been sitting in my drawer for 10 freaking long years. Just look at the yellowing papers! The pads infront are yellow-er because they were from Primary 3, I think. I then left them where they belong.

Oh, the joy of driving a manual car without supervision! Actually, I'm fine with having passengers in the car, provided my Mom's not one of them. The whole family always get a earful when any of her kids drive. Wait, scrap that, sometimes she even nags at how my Dad drives. LOL!

HancockAnyway, Hancock is an unrealistic show, but the effects and thrills I got from it were worth the watch. I think it's nice, maybe because I'm not a fussy movie goer.

And, life as an Officer who's on course is so relaxed! I get to see my love almost everyday since his course started. And this will last till 18th July. =D
