HELLO GORGEOUS! =D I'm absolutely in love with my new bag! So what if Liz Claiborne isn't a very well-known or extremely upmarket brand. It's the bag I'm buying, not the brand, LOL!

Weight Woes?

In the changing room of the country club earlier, I overheard a very alarming and disturbing statement made by a young girl.

Girl: Mommy, my tummy is very fat. I want my tummy to be flat flat.

When I got out of the shower and was blow drying my hair, the mother and daughter came out and I got a rude shock to see that the girl was only around the age of 7. To add on, she was nowhere near chubby, not even the least bit.

Right after I weighed myself, the girl immediately hopped onto the scale and because I was just beside the scale, I couldn't help but saw her weight reflected on the scale. The scale read: 21.7kg

She called her Mom over to look at the readings and asked, "Is it still 120?", which I presume she meant 120%. In all honesty, I can't see where that excess 20% of weight is hidden in that girl's small body.

It's sad to know that girls so young are already worrying about their weights, and schools somewhat have a part to play for this.

Today, my love and I went back to being kids once again. We went to Sentosa and watched Songs of the Sea at 8.40pm which was supposed to be Earth Hour.

We initially wanted to catch the 7.40pm show but tickets were sold out an hour before! Because we had a lot of time to kill before our show, we decided to settle dinner at Tastes of Singapore.

Lobster Laksa

After dinner, we STILL had some time to kill so we walked around for a bit, and then it was finally time for our show!!!

It was a wonderful night with so many pretty pictures taken at Songs of the Sea. For more viewing pleasure, the rest of the pictures can be found on Facebook. Goodbye, goodnight.

Recently, I've been consuming way too much desserts and so that explains why I'm getting rounder.

Met up with RJ for dinner yesterday and we settled for Marché. As usual, instead of ordering what other people like to term it as "proper food", I headed straight for desserts!

Sweet crepe with banana + 1 scoop of caramel macadamia ice cream.

Today, it was another round of desserts for dinner, and the sin was heightened by the fact that I had my dessert dinner twice.

Part 1: 2 scoops of ice cream from Daily Scoop

Part 2: Cakes from Mezza9

I have sinned, a lot. But I enjoyed every morsel of my sin. =)

Every time I pass by Food For Thought, there's this particular cake that is always calling out to me, but I just walk right past. Recently, the urge to have that cake was overwhelming, so my love and I went there for dinner, just so I can finally sink my teeth into that pretty cake.

Woke up late this morning and because Dad was leaving home in 5 minutes, I had to rush through everything. Didn't have time to slowly decide on what to wear to work and so I thought, "Ah, heck it, I shall wear shorts to work today", and so I did.

It's nice to work at a company where dress codes are not so strict. So long as it's presentable, anything goes. Shiok-a-doo. LOL!

Yesterday was an extremely eventful day from 8am till past midnight.

Trooped down with my parents to Mercedes Benz staff sale and slightly more than half the loot bought was mine and NJ4's (at my own expense of course). I think NJ4 was pretty pleased with the items I got for him (right?). Honestly, I have never felt any buys so worthwhile before. =)

We then lunched at IMM's Swensen's and had a crazy time at Giant! And... 1/3 the loot belonged to me (at my parents' expense), LOL! I always have bundles of joy and fun whenever I'm out with my parents. So what if I'm 23? It's never too old to spend quality time with my folks. ♥ And I love being Daddy's and Mommy's girl.

Being 25 months into our relationship, NJ4 insisted that we "try some place new".

Before we adjourned to "the some place new", we caught Push. Action packed, clever plot and good looking characters, definitely a great watch.

And then, we proceeded to PS Cafe @ Dempsey for our dinner/supper/desserts at 11pm. It took us quite a while to locate the place because it was like a little maze in Dempsey, but we eventually got to it and it was worth all the search. =)

I've been quite a pissy prick of late and somewhat peeved NJ4 off the day before yesterday.

Despite my hostility and ever changing moods, NJ4 did a surprise book out yesterday, and bought a slice of Bakerzin oreo cheesecake which I was craving for 2 days ago before picking me up from work.

And I ask myself once again: Where will I ever find another like him? ♥

Delta gatherings are hard to come by, and the gathering we had earlier almost didn't manage to go through, but it somehow did in the end. =)

The dinner part was a minor failure because we still got played out so it was only Emily, Jay-Jay and myself.

After dinner plan was better as 2 more Deltarians joined us, and we had crazy fun at Haji Lane. Shisha smoking was a failure when the waitress somehow forgot our order for it. -_- So we had some self entertainment after a round of drinks (plus our forgotten shisha).

The jump shots are raw pictures taken right out from the camera and are totally unedited except for my blog URL which I added. It's nice and scary in a way. Nice for the ultra cool effect, but scary in an eerie way because we all looked so translucent.

Delta outing was fun, but it definitely could be better. =)

NJ4 and I started our super long weekend on Friday evening, and it will last through to Monday! =D

Anyway, for no apparent reason, NJ4 suggested that we have dinner at Waraku at East Coast, and because of my obsessive love for Waraku, I agreed almost immediately!

The set we shared.

For some weird reason, Waraku's food seem to have a diminishing returns effect on me already. =X But it's still delicious nonetheless!

And as we were travelling to town after dinner, we saw a very pretty heart-shaped cloud!

And then, we finally did the activity that we went to town for: My Bloody Valentine - 3D!

My virgin 3D movie experience was not too bad, but the super annoying thing was that the 3D glasses were way too large for my face that I had to hold them in place almost throughout the entire show.

LOL! The both of us look like some major geek in those 3D eye wear!

Today, the sky did its magic again.

Pretty. So very pretty.

On a totally irrelevant topic, I'm never ever going to drink Milo at my work desk again. I cleverly toppled the styrofoam cup half filled with Milo all over my work papers, and now I have Milo-smelling invoices, other documents and carpet.

I wonder if ants will be attracted. Hmm...
