Family of Four

I had 3 mehmehs, and now I have 4! Papa Meh joined the family on Christmas eve, so now there is Baby Meh, Junior Meh, Big Meh, and Papa Meh! We are in search of the next 2 sizes up and it is not going to be an easy search, but we will try. =)

When one recently just started on their new job and is not able to utilize any annual leave yet, the best one can do besides a short trip is to have a staycation! Over the weekend, NJ4 and I spent a night at Ritz Carlton. The experience was really very wonderful. Two thumbs up! =)

After we took in the fantastic view and fooled around in the room enough, we watched some movies on TV before we headed out to Marina Bay Sands for a walk.

Went back to the hotel thereafter and watched more movies! Then it was time for bed, and the next morning...

Rise and shine!

And off to Greenhouse Cafe for delicious breakfast!

Totally enjoyed the stay at Ritz!

A Week Of Fun.

This entire week was filled with a lot of food trials and Baby Meh had the time of his life going around and trying out all the different sorts of cuisines with us!

Tuesday was Japanese ramen at Ippudo, followed by Rupunzel in 3D.

Mehmeh behind the 3D glasses!

Friday found us in the East because I wanted to have an "Ikea moment", and so we did!

Mehmeh craved for milkshake today, so we popped by Once Upon A Milkshake (OUAM) to get our fix.

With Chocolate Truffle Castle (left) and Nutty Peanut Butler (right) swirling inside his tummy, mehmeh is a very happy sheep. Both flavours of the milkshake were good, and the texture was extremely thick and delicious. I'm heading back for the Cerious Maple some day!

The Terror Is Back!

It has been about a week since the annoying boyfriend is back. What greeted me placed a huge smile on my face.

Seriously, what is not to love about Zumbo?

Friday saw us at Wild Honey for dinner because I had such a fantastic experience the first time, and I wanted to share the awesomeness with NJ4.

To add on to the joy, Baby and Junior Meh's family expanded!

The Last Of Sydney - 16-18 July 2010

16 July

This was the day we had sweet and savoury treats, coupled with beautiful sea view and much fun frolicking around.

Upon recommendations and raves from people all around, breakfast found us at Bourke Street Bakery.

Of the whole lot, the lemon tart (bottom right) was my favourite because the zest from the lemon flavour was so intensely delightful!

We popped by Eastgardens for a little bit before we met up with another couple to go to Balmain for... ADRIANO ZUMBO!!! We queued for around half an hour before I got my box of expensive-but-super-worth-every-single-cent pastries!

And then just around the corner from Adriano Zumbo, we spotted a very cute cupcake place so in we went, and out with came with more happy looking treats!

The happy food hype was followed with happy view and crazy fun at the quieter side of Coogee Beach.

And we ended our day with a beautiful sunset view from a quiet neighbourhood that was on slightly higher grounds.

Awesome view...

17 July

We did some exercise on the second last day of my stay in Sydney by doing the Coastal Walk. We took a bus to Bondi where we started the trail which stretched from Bondi Beach to Coogee Beach which took us about 2 hours to complete. Weather was absolutely perfect for such a walk as it wasn't too cold that morning.

The various pitstops along the route of the Coastal Walk.

And we finally reached Coogee Beach after about 2 hours!

We were famished from the walk and so we went to search for this place that Debs recommended for their awesome smoothies.

The Banana Smoothie was really very good! Thick, creamy, and very delightful! The Turkey sandwich (I think), fared pretty well too!

So the rest of the day was spent bumming around I think. Have no pictures to remind me of what we did for the rest of the day.

18 July

Pack pack pack.

Bye baby, bye Sydney!
