The Joke That Made My Day!

My Sister-in-Law just told me that there is an uproar in her school's staff room now because of an amusing student.

A Secondary 1 boy wrote an essay entitled "Courage". And what is so amusing about an essay like this, you may wonder. The content was the root to all the amusement, for the student wrote:

This is courage.

And that was it. By the way, the essay was an English mid-year paper.

Hello Cookie.

Although Cookie caused me this, and although I really didn't like him for a while after that, I somewhat reconciled with him. He is still cautious and weary of me after the whole "barking episode" we had with each other, so time is essence for us now.

I must admit that he really is quite cute when he isn't being an ass.

The Simple Joy Some People Can Give.

This morning, I received the biggest day-maker in the past one month that I have been feeling gloomy.

The ex-treasurer of my current company sent me a message via WhatsApp, asking me why was my iPhone WhatsApp status on 痛 a.k.a Pain.

For someone who only had business dealings with me, I was pleasantly surprised when I received the text from her. Sure, she did ask how I was before, many months ago, but that was following a text exchange regarding work. This round, upon getting WhatsApp, and upon seeing my status, she came forward showing so much concern.

Mrs Teo, I really appreciate it. Your students at RGS are really blessed to have a teacher like you around.

Face Lift - An Attempt.

When the attempt to get your damaged iPhone exchanged for free fails, what do you do then? An alternative is to do the exchange at a cost of $328. But if you are really too poor to fork out that amount of cash, a low cost cosmetic change can be implemented.

Okay, stop laughing already. I know the front of my iPhone looks fugly. =(((

When Things Are Down.

Because Cookie ran loose from his leash, my Dad gave chase. Because I was ahead of them and Cookie was running my way, I tried to block Cookie, failed, and gave chase. Because I was wearing slippers, I tripped over them, and sent myself flying forward, onto the asphalt.

Damages were not light, not at all.

Left elbow.

Left hip.

And if you think the wounds are bad enough, you're wrong. The pain that shot right through me wasn't the physical pain, but the pain that was felt deep within my heart.

Now tell me, which hurts more? FML.

It's A Start.

Today, we are 38 months old. I hope we are able to put all the sins and bad memories behind us. Hurt caused cannot be undone, and scars will stay. But with time, I'm sure they will fade away.

Perhaps this was a test for us, to see if we can survive through this ordeal together as one. But it really wasn't necessary and not worth it either. Work with me, and not work against me. I know we will see the light at the end of the tunnel together.

The most important factor is honesty. I still love you.

I do not understand why. The pacts and promises you made are broken every now and again. The lies you used to cover up more lies. The friends you used to cover up your lies. Making everything seem like I really wronged you. But now that the facts and truths are out, I am truly the one who got stabbed, not once, not twice, but multiple times.

Overkill.

Forbidden Trespasser(s)

My Dad just told me that Goldie and its entire cage is missing from our backyard. Somebody must have trespassed our property. Police have been notified, not so much because for the loss of the bird (and the cage), but more because someone had the audacity to trespass our property and could have probably broken in.

Cookie Monster.

Today, we adopted Cookie. No, not a biscuit, but a dog, a Chihuahua to be exact.

Don't question me on the colour of his clothes. Must be the kids of the previous owner who dressed him up so gay-ly prettily.
