Tanjong Pagar Railway Station

1 day before NJ4 flew back to Sydney, we visited the Tanjong Pagar Railway Station just in case they close the area by the time he returns from Sydney.

Friends @ Jelita

It has been a while since we last did some food exploration, so when we learned about this great deal, we jumped at the opportunity to relive our old hobby!

Going to Jelita brought back nostalgic memories because my Primary School's old location was just a mere stone's throw away.

Everything from the set was appetizing and delicious and considering that this meal was bought at a discounted price, the satisfaction I got from the quality of food served, doubled.

I will definitely want to go back to Friends @ Jelita to try their food from the standard menu. And on a sidenote, 11.5 hours spent with NJ4 today was sheer bliss. It's his last week in Singapore, and I'm sure going to miss him like crazy.

On Our 4th Birthday

On 14 February, we celebrated our 4th year being together. 4 years is one helluva long time to be together!

Instead of crashing with the crazy crowd in public, NJ4 decided to cook for me! In the end, I helped with the cooking as well, so the both of us cooked Valentine's and Anniversary dinner for one another!

Because the desserts needed more time to set, we started of by preparing desserts first!

Vanilla pod!

Creme Brulee in the making!

Chocolate Mousse in the making!

Smoked Salmon Roulade

Four Cheese Ravioli

Creme Brulee

Chocolate Mousse

Happy 4th Anniversary!

And Once Again..

I soak my pillow soggy before I finally go into an uneventful slumber. I wish such nights would stop, soon. I don't enjoy going to work feeling and looking ugly because I'm already ugly enough as it is.

Bias

The conversation that went on in the car as we were on our way back home, was too much to bear.

When I asked for assistance to lookout for a reasonably priced car that I can buy, I was given a million and one reasons as to why I do not need my own set of wheels.

Ever since he got his driving license at 18, he had the luxury of a car and had been driving throughout his poly life, his army life, his work life and now his university life. Yet me, being the elder sibling, never ever had that luxury. Never.

I have voiced out my desire to get my own set of wheels, with my own money, but the topic was always brushed off. Yet in the car just now, they talked like I was not there. They talked about getting him the car that he's been hankering after, they talked about how long he had the luxury of the spare car, they talked and talked, and totally disregarded my feelings.

But I just kept my mouth shut, I kept my thoughts to myself, and I pretended to sleep. It was cool.
