Hong Kong - 20 Oct 2011

On the 2nd day of our Hong Kong trip, we went to Disneyland for some kiddy fun! But of course, prior to a whole day of play, we went to fill our growling tummies first!

People have said that HK is Dim Sum paradise. Everywhere you go, you'd be able to find Dim Sum eateries. Whoever said that, lied. We found it so hard to locate Dim Sum eateries and so when we chanced upon this eatery, I literally kept my fingers crossed and hoped that the food would be decent.

I was immediately sold. And we came back two more times thereafter. =)

With our fully armed stomachs, we did a quick look-see at Citygate Outlets before heading to Disneyland.

Mehmeh obviously had balls of fun too! LOL!

HERE WE GO!!!!!

At chow time, we decided to try out the atas foodcourt, and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised that the food tasted really good! I was half expecting the food to be mediocre.

The people in Hong Kong really know how to have fun during the Halloween period, and we saw loads of dressups!

One of the many

The night ended with fireworks and pretty lightings on the buildings.

Hong Kong - 19 Oct 2011

It's been a week since I came back from Hong Kong, and I must say that it was quite a good trip. Loads of walking, not much eating, loads of sightseeing, not much shopping. I guess that's how my trip went in a nutshell.

So anyway, pictorial update with minimal words as usual!

The MTR underpass walkway that leads to our hotel.

Our 5-star hotel! =D

Cute Halloween decorations along the sidewalk, outside our hotel.

Our first meal in HK!

After our very late lunch, we went for a walkabout at Avenue of Stars.

We headed to Mong Kok thereafter to walk around Ladies Market, and the area.

We had a go at the smelly tofu, and boy was it really smelly! I remembered the ones I tried in Singapore was actually quite good. I think it was the chilli we added that killed the smelly tofu. But at least we ended the day with some pretty awesome mustard fries!

And so, that's Day 1.
