Another Great SunDate!

Friday night (in the wee hours of Saturday morning to be exact) was the best night in the last 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, a rainbow smiled on me (metaphorically and literally). The Saturday that followed was sheer bliss, and today, was yet another great date.

I casually mentioned to the boyfriend that I felt like going for a run at ECP, and the date was set! Was given the green light to use the car so off we went for our SunDate run! We've ran together on many occasions before, but today was our very first run at ECP together!

The sky was very gloomy when we got there and it threatened to rain, but the weather held up and a pretty rainbow showed up while we were midway. It only started to drizzle when we have completed our run. I think the rainbow was a good sign, for us.

So anyway, this run was an awesome one because I managed to shave off yet another 5 minutes for my 10km run which was really surprising!

Headed to Ikea for fuel, and dinner was good not because of the food, but because of the company I had. =)

Thank you love, for sending me home and taking the public transport back yourself even though I had the car, just because you weren't comfortable with me driving by myself since I have not driven in a super long time. Thank you for your effort and putting me in your thoughts. Today was yet another great date. I love you. =)

Brunch @ Riders Cafe

So after a week of many happenings, K suggested some time during the week to bring me to Riders Cafe for brunch today since he had the liberty of using his brother's car.

It's been a week since I saw him properly. It has been really eventful. And today, although very simple, was great. In fact, it was more than great.

We got there at 3pm and thankfully we were just in time for the last order of their Brunch menu.

Smoked Salmon & Scrambled Eggs with Avocado on toasted Sourdough

Blackstone Benedict with Bacon & Tomatoes, Poached Eggs & Hollandaise

Death by Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream

My smoked salmon and scrambled eggs was awesome, savoury and tastily good. However, K's Blackstone Benedict was a tad disappointing because the yolks were too cooked and not runny at all, not like how normal Eggs Benedict should be. The chocolate cake really lived up to its name, DEATH by chocolate. It got too cloying towards the end, but it was good while it lasted, before diminishing returns set in. LOL.

Seriously, the food didn't quite mattered to me, it was the company that mattered. It was the company that made this date great.

You made this date great. =)

After the super heavy brunch (because of the cake), we took a walk around the Saddle Club.

It was a simple date, but it felt good. A whole different feeling now that we're in our current situation. I enjoyed myself, tremendously if I may add. I like how happy we are. I hope this is how happy we can be, always. =)

Thank you for today.

Catching Up With Old Friends

It is undeniably always a good feeling when I get to catch up with friends I haven't met for some time.

Today was also the day for V to finally introduce her recent beau to us. After what she's been through, I'm happy for her that she's finally found someone who seem to cherish her a lot.

So anyway, I suggested Arbite to my friends, and off we went there for lunch!
.

3 beers and 1 cappuccino please!

Seafood Pie

Pulled Pork Wrap

Fritatta

Arbite Breakfast

Green Tea Fettucine

Super happy for you babe. =)
